1. What services does Touch Of Heat offer?
Touch Of Heat specialises in boilers and heating. Our services include new boiler installations, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, powerflushing, gas safety inspections, central heating system installations and unvented cylinder work. We also offer Touch Of Heat Protect, our monthly cover plan that keeps your boiler protected all year round.
2. Do you carry out general plumbing work?
No. Touch Of Heat is a specialist boiler and heating business. We do not carry out general plumbing, and this allows us to focus entirely on delivering the highest possible standard in the areas we know best.
3. Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes. All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered and fully qualified to carry out gas boiler work in domestic and commercial properties. You can ask to see our Gas Safe credentials at any time.
4. Do you work with commercial properties?
We carry out commercial gas safety inspections and servicing, including CP12 certification for landlords and businesses. Two of our engineers hold commercial qualifications, including catering gas. We do not carry out commercial boiler installations at this time.
1. How long does a new boiler installation take?
Most new boiler installations are completed within a single day. More complex work, such as a full system changeover or a new central heating system, may take longer. We will always give you a clear timeframe before the job begins.
2. What guarantee do I get on a new boiler?
All new boilers we fit come with our two-year workmanship guarantee. In addition, selected models carry up to 15 years of the manufacturer’s warranty, giving you long-term peace of mind. We will always make you aware of the exact warranty length for the model you choose.
3. Do you offer a fixed price?
Yes. Our fixed price guarantee means the price we quote is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees, no last-minute additions and no surprises on the day.
4. Can I get a price match?
Yes. If you receive a comparable quote from a reputable company, we will not only match it but aim to beat it by £100 wherever possible.
1. Do you offer finance for new boilers?
Yes. We work with Phoenix Financial Consultants to offer flexible monthly payment options for new boiler installations. You can apply online, and our team is happy to walk you through the process. Finance is subject to status and eligibility.
1. How much does a powerflush cost?
Power flushing starts from £400 + VAT, which covers the first four radiators. Each additional radiator is £50 + VAT. For example, a system with five radiators would be £450 + VAT, and six radiators would be £500 + VAT.
2. How do I know if my system needs a powerflush?
Common signs include cold spots on radiators, particularly at the bottom, slow heating times, discoloured water when bleeding radiators, and noisy boiler operation. If you are unsure, contact us, and we can advise you based on the symptoms you describe.

Touch Of Heat Protect is our monthly boiler cover plan. It gives you ongoing support and protection for your boiler, so you are not left dealing with unexpected repair costs. It is a subscription-based plan billed monthly, and it is designed to give homeowners and landlords consistent peace of mind throughout the year.
